Y2K and credit card fun
Take a look at this AP article on Yahoo News
. Because some merchants didn't update their credit card verification software for Y2K, that software is now charging customers for any purchases they make -- daily. That's right, make a purchase on Monday and you'll get charged on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. until the software is fixed. I would imagine that if merchants don't get this fixed fairly quickly they're going to have some very P.O.'ed consumers on their hands. Keep an eye on those statements, folks.
