I wonder if we will see a similar performance in the AMD Ryzen based APU’s on the cpu side as the Ryzen 3 1200 and 1300X?

    Bring on the Grilled Cheese!

The CPU performance of Raven Ridge APUs should be in the same neighborhood as existing Ryzen quad-cores, of the same clockspeed / SMT enabled or not. In fact, they might be slightly faster at the same clockspeed due to having a single CCX, rather than the 2×2 setup used the current quad cores; in some applications that can make a few percentage points difference.

And of course, AMD could probably release a 3 core / 6 thread APU for the lower end of the market; would be an interesting way to compete with the hyperthreaded Pentiums.
