[quote<]Yeah, yeah, I know that's root beer...[/quote<] Good thing, too. If it was real beer that sun would've skunked it.

      Not necessary.

Unless the beer was stuck sunbathing for a while.

Man knows his beer. Speaking of which, I’m drinking a lovely Deschutes porter…

Hoppy IPAs will start to skunk within seconds in direct sun. Been there, smelled it. Granted, that was in a clear pint glass. Might take a few minutes in a brown bottle.

It is probably because I usually dunk down beers so fast that skunking has never been an issue for me. I usually store the stuff away from light too.

And as luck would have it, there’s a homebrew club meeting tonight! 😀

    Happy Birthday, JBI!

(I know that it’s probably not actually your birthday, but we may as well observe it now.)

[quote<]ASUS Radeon ROG RX Vega 64 STRIX 8GB review @ Guru3D[/quote<] Guru pulled their Vega 64 STRIX review because ASUS revealed that they had mistakenly shipped the card with a stock BIOS instead of the intended factory overclock settings. Will re-test and re-up when they get an updated product.

Given how well the Vega 64 overclocks.. it’ll be interesting to see the differences.

Vega 64 is bottleneck at the geometric level like its Fury predecessor until AMD gets primitive shaders working under gaming workloads.

That’s currently why Vega 56 can easily match the 64 at gaming with a modest overclock.
