So to an uninformed Aussie – is mayonnaise the absurdity, or just this brand?

      It is the slogan.

      “Real” mayonnaise + Omega3?

Wouldn’t it depend on what oil was used in preparation?

Speaking of absurdity, Star Citizen raking in $200M without ever shipping has to take the crown….

Tech nerds need something to complain about, amirite.

It’s incredible. $200M in funding, 6 years in development and still no end in sight. And they’ve been cutting out planned features to make matters worse.

What worries me as an early backer is that what was billed as a pretty straightforward if ambitious Freelancer 2.0 back in 2011-2012 has morphed into this nebulous “it’s gonna be all the things!” cloud of marketing hype and tech demos without a lot of clarity on what the actual game(s) will play like. Especially since they seem to be going down the Medal of Dutyfield rabbit hole.

All of the Stretch Goals are listed as being 100% complete as of 2014… so apparently they’re now working on the tippy-toe-stretch goals….

I would like to thank TR for ditching the political ads on the Shortbread pages.

Ironically, no “Trump has Cancer Cure” ad on National Absurdity day, though.

      • NovusBogus

      Definitely a nice change.

If the decision leaves TR with an excess of whitespace, perhaps we could substitute our own set of stupid shady headlines.

“Could a hidden document spell the end of Nvidia? Jensen Huang doesn’t want you to see this!”
“Shocking new video from the man who predicted Ryzen wouldn’t suck!”
“Fake news media caught trying to cover up proof of the Cherry MX conspiracy!”
“Will this one weird terminal command change Windows forever?”
