These comments are still absolute trash on a phone. Comments are still cut off or 2 words per line. Let it be known, it’s not smart to roll out a broken, unusable site, while the previous can function in the interim. I feel the owners don’t understand that at all.

I’m wasting my time posting this. I was going to contribute with a useful post. I’m not bothering. F this

If you missed some Steam Summer deals, the QuakeCon sale has dropped the prices of Dishonored (1, 2, DotO), the Wolfenstein reboot titles, and Doom (2016).

In other news, at least one Disney investor thinks the company should acquire ActivisionBlizzard, which would be…interesting.

It definitely has potential. A Star Wars game build in SC2’s engine? A Diablo style Marvel game? Heartstone, but with Disney properties? There’s a lot of potential there.

On the other hand…the Activision side of the house isn’t much better than EA, and Blizzard have been slipping more and more into AAA traps. That, and Disney don’t seem that interested in game development, despite the potential revenue streams.

Sad to see even the shortbread posts aren’t as good as they used to be since most of the good tech websites either shut down or stopped making original content.

“AMD exec: Nvidia fell for our double bluff @ Ars Technica”

Oh yeah that $50 last second price cut that required all the retailers to screw up their listings really put Ngreedia in a tailspin!

But that’s nothing compared to the quadruple bluff called Radeon VIi that totally tricked Ngreedia into not doing anything!

OK, that hyperlink for Raid-Eon in my original post was NOT put there by me.

Hijacking the text to auto-link to sales websites (ironically enough a Walmart link that’s a dead-end) is not cool guys. I’m sorry.

This site is on life support. At least as a VERY long time lurker it looks like it. My newsfeed has half as many articles. Comments are dismal. I read where there are not any reference cards to be found too. That makes me wonder if there’s any hardware at anyone’s disposal to do comparisons. This site is only a dim shadow of what it was a few months ago.
