As one of its major sponsors, VIA is planning on making a major splash at QuakeCon. Experience surround gaming in a unique audio immersion room. Shacknews has the lowdown on this and other exciting announcements to come in an exclusive interview.
Shack: VIA has recently become much more involved in gamers and the community, what was the catalyst for this? It's nice to see some props given to the gaming and enthusiast communities. Your opinion counts, after all.
Richard: I give a lot of credit to John and Fiona Gatt, who run the VIA Arena website, and Kyle Bennett at HardOCP. They have been hammering away at me for a long time on how important the gaming market is, and it took longer than it should have for me to follow up on their suggestions.
