Benchmarking hardware T&L

The controversial stuff has been swirling like mad at the HardOCP lately. Fortunately, the issue Kyle has raised about NVIDIA's transformation and lighting (T&L) engine in their new GeForce chip has prompted the guys at Beyond3D to produce another excellent article helping explain what may be going on with the 3DMark 2000 benchmark numbers. The short version: looks like the GeForce may be big on T but not so big on L, when all is said and done. Interesting reading.
