Slim Design whips up a Pentium 4-powered Mocha

— 4:02 PM on September 3, 2002

Forget Shuttle's tiny little cubes, Slim Design is the real king of small form factor PCs. In a case that's not much bigger than a 5 1/4 drive they've packed a whole lot of goodies into their new Mocha P4, which include the following.

  • 400MHz bus for Pentium 4 processors
  • SiS 650 chipset
  • up to 1GB of DDR SDRAM
  • up to a 60GB 5400rpm IDE hard drive
  • DVD/CD-RW combo drive
  • USB 2.0
  • S/PDIF audio jacks
  • Gigabit Ethernet
The on-board video isn't going to be good enough for gaming, but considering what kind of size we're looking at, I think we can forgive them. Thanks to TR reader Timm Stokke for the tip.
