What? Huh? I can't hear you. I said, I CAN'T HEAR YOU.
NO, I AM WORKING ON THE GEFORCE FX ULTRA REVIEW. WHAT DO YOU MEAN I'M YELLING?
Ah, benchmark's over. Sorry about that.
Anyhow, the review is coming along OK. I'm trying to decide how much to include in this initial article and how much to save for later installments. Either way, I should have something finished before too long.
Got to playing with the Dawn demo last night, which led to this conversation:
Damage: Dawn looks good with 8X AA and 8X aniso. And 2X boobies. So you can see why the review might be taking a while.
Andrew Brown: Are the boobies adjustable?
Andrew Brown: Is there a boobies slider? :-)
Damage: No, but there are sliders for goosebumps and oily skin.
Andrew Brown: Eww. That might be a little too much realism.
Damage: She's lubed up and kinda chilly right now.
In other news, we have a new DC team to complement our valiant Folding effort. You can read all about our RC5-72 team right here. morpheus777, who created the new DC team with our blessing, says "it adds diversity to our distributed computing effort." And, as we all learned in college, diversity is an unquestioned good thing. So get out there and join up, or you're not diverse!
Of course, there's always our Folding team, too. I've so neglected them, they nearly mounted an effort to buy advertising on the site from me. Who knew the road to wealth involved neglect? Anyhow, we could use your help. The Folding team has met with some stiff competition, and we need a renewed push to get back into the top 10. Most important: beating "Alliance Francophone." We must catch the Frenchies.
