First GeForce FX 5200 Go benchmarks leak out

Though NVIDIA's GeForce FX 5200 Go boasts a full DirectX 9 feature set, it doesn't look like the mobile chip will best the performance of ATI's DirectX 8-class Mobility Radeon 9200. The Inquirer managed to score some benchmark results from the competing mobile graphics chips running on an OEM's test machine, and the GeForce FX 5200 Go is consistently behind the Mobility Radeon 9200. Even in 3DMark03, where the Mobility Radeon 9200 is at a distinct disadvantage because of its lack of DirectX 9 support, the GeForce FX 5200 Go is still 25% slower than ATI's mid-range mobile offering.
