Rambus prevails in court

The FTC's antitrust against Rambus has been thrown out of court. The presiding judge ruled the commission "failed to establish liability" that Rambus took part in standards setting for SDRAM without disclosing its relevant patents. Shares of RMBS surged 36% on the ruling, which is still subject to review by the full FTC and a US Court of Appeal.
