New Serial ATA specs completed

As if the current Serial ATA standard weren't enough, the Serial ATA Working Group has announced new specifications that double signaling speed and introduce new cable and connector solutions. New cables and connectors won't be needed to reach the 300MB/s speeds possible with next-gen Serial ATA products, however, new cabling options will be available for external devices, datacenters, and backplanes. Thanks to the HardOCP for the tip.
