PCI Express cubes on the way

— 4:58 AM on May 20, 2004

DigiTimes is reporting that Shuttle will introduce new Pentium 4-based XPC systems in June. The cubes will apparently support LGA775 processors and PCI Express, continuing Shuttle's history of keeping its XPC line fresh with the latest chipsets. Due to additional costs associated with the LGA775 socket and higher chipset prices, it's expected that the new cubes will cost 30% more than existing XPCs.
