Friday night topic: Remembering Reagan

— 5:00 PM on June 11, 2004

I was out of the country when he died, and I was somewhat surprised to return to a still-ongoing series of memorial services, editorials, and remembrances. Reagan's greatness seems to be more widely acknowledged and appreciated now than ever, despite today's highly polarized political environment. Margaret Thatcher's eulogy, for one, nicely captures some of the reasons why.
