Microsoft to boost Hotmail storage limits

— 1:57 AM on June 24, 2004

TR regular morpheus777 tipped me off that Microsoft will boost the storage limit for free Hotmail accounts to 250MB. Hotmail's paid email service, which costs $20 a year, will sport a staggering 2GB storage limit. Microsoft's storage boost follows a similar increase by Yahoo, who recently raised storage limits for their own email service. And all this thanks to Google's Gmail service, which still in an invite-only beta state.
