Intel extends Dothan downward

Intel has announced a couple of new additions to its Pentium M line. The Pentium M 715 and 725 bring Dothan's 90-nm core, complete with 2MB of L2 cache, down to 1.5 and 1.6GHz, respectively. With a price tag of $209 for the 715 and $241 for the 725, the new Dothans are quite a bit cheaper than the Pentium M 735, which sells for $299 at Newegg. If only Pentium M boards were plentiful and affordable.
