ATI readies new chipsets

— 12:05 PM on July 2, 2004

According to this story over at DigiTimes, ATI is priming its RS400 and RS480 chipsets for an August release. The chipsets will apparently feature integrated graphics cores similar to Intel's Graphics Media Accelerator 900, so expect DirectX 9 support. This time around, AMD will be getting a little love from ATI, too. The RS480 chipset is supposedly designed for the K8 platform.
