DDR RAM smacks down Rambus

If these benchmarks run by Bert McComas are right, it's curtains for Rambus once DDR SDRAM hits the street. These tests compare Micron's Samurai DDR chipset with DDR SDRAM to an Intel 840-based motherboard running dual-channel RDRAM. The benchmarks show an almost universal advantage for DDR SDRAM—sometimes a pretty hefy gap between the two memory technologies, in fact. Word to Rambus stockholders: Sell! Sell! (Again.)
