Nintendo revamps DS design
Nintendo has unveiled a new design for its DS portable gaming platform. The redesigned DS looks sleek and stylish, though I can't help but wonder how game developers will take advantage of the handheld's two screens. According to Nintendo, over 120 games are in development for the new platform, so it's probably a safe bet that at least some titles will make good use of the extra screen and also the DS's wireless networking capabilities.
Although official pricing and release dates aren't yet available, Eurogamer reports that the DS will be released in Japan on November 4. The handheld will apparently land on US soil a week later with an estimated price tag of $180.
