Friday night topic: 30 years of D&D
Amazingly enough, Dungeons & Dragons is now 30 years old. It's also experiencing something of a resurgence
. Personally, I never really got into the game, in part because my circle of friends didn't play, and in part because of the geeky stigma (a stigma I later was forced to embrace fully due to my computer hobby.) Were you ever a D&D player? Do you still play? Any particularly good or interesting memories from D&D? How good a game is it, and how far-reaching is its social impact? Discuss.
