palmOne intros Treo 650

We don't cover too many phones or PDAs around here, but the all-in-one Treo 600 series is a cut above the usual. Today, palmOne has announced the Treo 650, an internally redesigned Treo 600 with a faster processor, a much higher resolution screen, and an even better keyboard. If I weren't locked into a @^&$#! contract with Sprint, I'd buy the GSM version of this thing right now. Unfortunately, this device doesn't achieve the Holy Grail of wireless adaptability by incorporating Wi-Fi—palmOne cites concerns about interference between multiple radios—but otherwise, it looks like a near-perfect mobile communicator.
