Does anyone out there have any opinions/experience with rackmount Opteron servers? I’m interested in any tales you have, good or bad. AMD has a pretty extensive list of server providers, but so far I haven’t found one that looks particularly promising.
I’m interested in 2P 1U rackmount boxes with at least two hotswap hard drives. The option for on-site service would also be a big plus. This company has some interesting looking stuff, at least, but I’d never heard of them before today, and their last entry on ResellerRatings.com is from 2002.
