Sony reveals PSP street date, pricing

Sony has officially revealed the North American street date and price of its PSP portable gaming console. The device will hit retail shelves in the US on March 24, sell for $250, and be backed up by 24 launch titles that will be available within the first month. In addition to being a handheld gaming device, the PSP can also play back movies and music. It even has 802.11b Wi-Fi built-in. The PSP will face off against Nintendo's dual-screen DS handheld, which sells for around $180.
