Rambus redress rejected: redux

The well is running dry for Rambus-related puns, and so it seems for legal avenues to enforce SDRAM-related patents at the technology IP firm. At Infineon's request, Judge Robert Payne has dismissed the Rambus suit against it, on the grounds of "litigation misconduct."

Though Rambus continues to lose with arguments on the technical merits of RDRAM, it appears to be gaining traction with claims of price fixing against it. Tort reform may soon limit US consumers' right to sue, but fortunately for Rambus (its lawyers even more so), good old business-to-business frivolous lawsuits are alive and kicking, and so they are too, like a spider down the kitchen sink drain.
