"Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown" - William Shakespeare, Henry IV. Part II
In past updates, we've taken in-depth looks at Team Mac OS X, the SA Goons, Team Maximum PC Magazine, Team Rage3D and Ars Technica Team Egg Roll. This week, we see what it takes to be one of the top dogs, Overclockers Australia.
Quiz time! Fill in the blank: Overclockers Australia is dedicated to people that _________ in _________. If you guessed that the first blank was "Overclock" and the second blank was "Australia," you go to the front of the class. OCAU is a much larger team than team TR, boasting over twice our active membership and almost double the number of processors.
OCAU does not have a jaw-dropping Folder like Rage3D's How??? What they do have is several higher-end Folders who each contribute over 4000 points per day. Still, on average, their members do not have the same power that we do.
We have a lot of work to do before we get to Overclockers Australia's level. They just have more people on their team than we do. But if we can maintain our current PPD levels and add more people, we can someday hope to challenge the champs!
