New ATI, NVIDIA chipsets expected this year
Taiwanese motherboard manufacturers expect
new chipsets from ATI and NVIDIA this year. ATI is expected to release a total of four new north bridge chips, including multi-rendering platforms for both AMD and Intel processors. ATI is also expected to unleash a new SB450 south bridge with High Definition Audio support. On the green team, NVIDIA will supposedly launch an entry-level chipset for Intel processors to complement its high-end nForce4 SLI Intel Edition.
