Palm to introduce PDA with 4GB Microdrive

Later this month, PalmOne will apparently introduce a LifeDrive Mobile Manager handheld equipped with a 4GB Microdrive. The device will reportedly be powered by a 416MHz Xscale processor, have a 320x480 screen, and boast both Bluetooth and 802.11b Wi-Fi. The PDA/media player hybrid will also run the Palm OS, making it far more flexible than existing portable media players. LifeDrives won't be cheap, though. With a projected $500 price tag, they'll make even iPods look cheap.
