Yahoo offers budget music service
Yahoo has thrown its hat
into the online music game. The company is offering a subscription-based service that gives users access to a library of over one million songs for as little as $60 a year. As long as user keeps paying their monthly installments, they'll be free to transfer music to portable players, although Apple's iPod isn't compatible with the service. Burnable downloads will also be available for $0.79, making the service cheaper than both Napster and Rhapsody.
