Nokia touts cheap, open tablet

The Register has the goods on an intriguing low-cost tablet from Nokia. The $350 device runs Linux, sports an 800x480 screen and integrated Wi-Fi, and apparently has up to three hours of battery life. Keeping the platform open and accessible seems to be a priority for Nokia, too. The device isn't encrusted with any kind of DRM, and Nokia is even launching a development platform for it.
