Apple expected to produce 4GB iPod Shuffle

Citing sources at NAND Flash makers, DigiTimes is reporting that Apple will introduce 2GB and 4GB iPod Shuffle models this summer. It's unclear whether the higher capacity models would replace existing Shuffles, or even the 4GB iPod mini, but let's hope Apple includes a screen this time around. Despite the popularity of randomized playback, with a 4GB Shuffle potentially able to store 1,000 songs, users may demand a more powerful user interface. Support for multiple playlists wouldn't hurt, either.
