HP presentation reveals Intel roadmap

— 2:26 AM on June 21, 2005

The Inquirer has unearthed an interesting HP presentation that details the expected TDP of several upcoming Intel processors. Available in PDF form from HP's web site, Driving Density in the Data Center focuses on data center cooling and power consumption, but also features a handy Intel processor roadmap on page 19. That roadmap suggests that a 65-nano dual-core Xeon could arrive before the end of the year. A 65-nano "Woodcrest" dual-core part with a TDP of just 70W is also listed as a 2006 product.
