Intel preps Pentium M-based Xeon for blades

Intel will reportedly release a Xeon processor developed for blade servers in the first half of next year. Code-named Sossaman, the chip is based on Intel's Pentium M architecture, and has a maximum TDP of just 31 watts. Sossaman will presumably be derived from Intel's dual-core Yonah Pentium M design, and given that it's a server chip, one would hope that it will also have EM64T support under the hood.
