AMD adds faster 25W Turions

AMD has added Turion 64 MT-37 and MT-40 processors to its mobile lineup. The MT-37 clocks in at 2.0GHz and will sell for $268 in 1,000-unit quantities, while the MT-40 runs at 2.2GHz and has a $359 price tag. Like the rest of the Turion 64 "MT" family, the new chips have a 25W TDP. 2.0 and 2.2GHz Turion 64 processors are also available in "ML" flavors that carry a 35W TDP. Turion 64 MT chips cost $5 more than their ML equivalents, but that seems like a small price to pay for that much of a reduction in TDP.
