Yep, I've finally finished my GeForce 2 GTS review. Even if you've read the other reviews of NVIDIA's latest and greatest 3D card, you owe it to yourself to check this one out. It's brutally thorough, and we tested the card in some novel ways. Here's a snippet:
These sorts of detailed, high-polygon scenes are definitely accelerated by the GeForce 2's T&L engine, especially on slower systems. However, on faster systems like our two test boxes, the value of the GeForce family's on-chip T&L has been questioned. With extended instruction sets like 3DNow! and SSE intended to speed up 3D calculations, how much help is the GF2's T&L engine?
