Intel revealed details today of its plans for a next-generation manufacturing expansion. According to the press release, Intel has committed $3.5 billion to a new fabrication plant in Kiryat Gat, Israel. The new plant will use 45nm process technology and 300mm wafers, and is scheduled to come online in 2008.
