Nikkei says no PS3 until November

Sony has delayed the PlayStation 3 until November, according to the Nihon Keizai Shimbun (Nikkei), a leading Japanese financial newspaper. Sony reportedly cited issues with the finalization of Blu-ray copy protection technology as the reason behind the delays. Last month, a DigiTimes report mentioned Sony's issues with the Blu-ray specification, but only put off the release date until August. The new date is November, although an American Sony spokesperson said Sony Computer Entertainment had yet to issue an official statement. That's expected to come at tomorrow's press conference.
