In light of today’s date, deal sites and e-tailers are teeming with specials, promotions, and bargains of all types. We’ve gathered a handful that caught our eye.

To start off, those still hunting for an affordable graphics upgrade may find Sapphire’s Radeon HD 4850 512MB interesting, since Newegg sells it for only $150 shipped, and a $20 mail-in rebate can take the price down to just $130. That’s really not bad for a card that usually costs around $160 and performs so well. On the CPU front, Newegg offers Intel’s Core 2 Duo E8400 for $160 shipped and the Core 2 Quad Q8200 for $180 shipped—both $10+ drops from regular pricing.

If you’re looking to finally make the jump to Vista but don’t feel like spending over a hundred bucks for a license, you’ll find OEM version of Windows Vista Home Premium x64 for $80 shipped at Newegg, which is roughly $20 less than usual. We see Western Digital’s 1TB Caviar Black is available for only $120 shipped now, too, down $10-20 compared to last week. Considering how fast this drive is, that’s an excellent deal.

Finally, Apple is offering some Black Friday deals on its own online store. A $208 iPod touch isn’t necessarily anything to write home about, but you can now get the base aluminum MacBook model for $1,198 instead of $1,299. (Have a look through our review for our take on this laptop.) If that’s too expensive for you, Dell has several deals on its more affordable 13.3-14.1″ laptops, as well.
