DFI cooks up X38 motherboards

COMPUTEX — Naturally, the majority of motherboard makers are working on motherboards based on Intel’s X38 Express chipset. One of those manufacturers is DFI, which like Abit had two X38 mobos on display in its booth: one high-end variant with DDR3 support, in this case dubbed LanParty X38-T3R:

..and one more affordable model with only support for DDR2 memory, the LanParty X38-T2R:
