While cruising Voodoo Extreme, I noticed this little blurb about an unlinked orchestrated piece from Matt Uelmen for the upcoming Diablo II expansion pack.

A quick hop into the Blizzard FTP here for PC users and here for Mac users yields an orchestrated piece that quite simply dwarfs any of the pieces Mr. Uelmen has previously done for Blizzard.

With the incredible amount of electric equipment, screaming singers, and overused samples in today’s music, I hope that many of you will find this piece an enjoyable change. There is something undeniably more surreal about the world an orchestra can create versus what we hear in the popular music of today.

I hope you enjoy the tale this piece tells as much as I did.
