Had a pretty productive day yesterday. Did data entry and made graphs for GPU stuff. 12 different GPU configs and seven different benchmarks, including a bunch of new games. I’m still a ways out on an article, though. I have yet to do power and noise testing for those 12 configs, and that’s about eight hours worth of work, at least. Going to try out the new sound meter, too, and I’m not quite sure how that will work out.  I can’t test until after dark, when everyone else is in bed and the house is quiet.  Hmm.

One thing I’m doing differently is including more FRAPS frame-by-frame data than ever before. That stuff is easy enough to capture, so I figure I might as well.

I have to say, for this sort of visual work, my crazy-insane desktop resolution of 3760×1600 has proven to be a big help to my productivity.

That’s the result of a 30″ display next to a 20″ one in portait mode.  I am, for now, wholly contented with this setup.  I’m still learning to use all of that real estate, but as you might imagine, it’s a pleasant process.  Heh.  Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a few more graphs to tweak.
