Now that Sega has abandoned the game console hardware biz, Microsoft has convinced them to produce software for the Xbox console. You’ll recall that the Sega Dreamcast used Microsoft’s Windows CE operating system, so I guess this is a pretty funky turn of events in the grand scheme of things.

Microsoft says the Xbox will launch alongside 11 Sega titles. No word yet on whether the Xbox will include the ability to run Dreamcast titles via emulation, but this move makes it all the more likely, in my view.
