Spanish-language tech site El Chapuzas Informatico (ECI) has been a ready source of leaks and rumors lately. This time around, the publication has a picture of the board and box for a KFA2 GeForce GT 1030 EXOC White card, along with some of its specs. As always, these leaks should be consumed with a few grains of salts, though this particular one looks fairly solid.

ECI reports that the card is based on a 16-nm GP108-300 GPU. If that info's accurate, it means this is the smallest Pascal processor from Nvidia yet. The leakers say that the GPU has 384 stream processors running at a 1252 MHz base clock and with a nominal boost frequency of 1506 MHz. The chip is purportedly connected to 2 GB of GDDR5 memory running at 6 GT/s across a 64-bit bus.
The KFA2 card on display comes with an HDMI 2.0b port and a DVI port. It's a single-slot, low-profile design that ECI says is expected to draw just 30 watts in operation. Despite the card's low power draw, the site says that it could be significantly overclocked versus a hypothetical GT 1030 reference design.
In any case, it was a pretty fair bet that Nvidia would update its aging bottom-end graphics cards soon. As Wayne pointed out when we first heard whispers of the GT 1030, certain models of the still-selling GT 730 use a Fermi-based chip that dates all the way back to 2010. El Chapuzas Informatico says KFA2's little GeForce will sell for 80€ including VAT (around $87).
