Show notes

We did something new this episode of the podcast. We opened the doors to the sausage factory and live streamed how it’s all made. The results were nothing short of horrifying. If you’re feeling adventurous (it is almost Halloween after all), click here to see the raw, uncut podcast carnage for yourself.

Otherwise, this podcast covers a wide gamut of topics including new products from Apple, the new Avengers trailer, earnings from Intel, Apple, and AMD, and a ton of other stuff.

Send in listener mail, and we’ll answer on the podcast. – jdrake@techreport.com

I’m pretty sure you guy’s issues with Window’s Eight’s corners was solved out of the box. I swear I disabled them on day one when I was breaking in my first $39.99 copy.

    Right click Taskbar>PROPERTIES>NAVIGATION TAB

Under the heading “Corner Navigation” there is the check boxes:

When I point to the upper-right corner, show the charms

    and

When I click the upper-left corner, switch between my apps

yeah, but it’s so strange that so many of 8’s criticisms are and were so easily changeable. people complained about so much that really wasn’t a problem.

It would be very interesting to bring David Kanter to talk about Soft Machine’s VISC CPU demonstrator and architecture.
