In 2019 she joined the Techreport team, a role that provided some flexibility as a parent while also allowing her to cultivate her passion for tech and gadgets. At Techreport she slowly worked her way up to editor in chief, expanding the site's focus to more verticals and niches. As of late 2024, Renee joined Self Employed team as an editor in chief.
As part of her current role with Self Employed, Renee uses her experience in entrepreneurship and online media to help people launch their first business, scale their practices, and generally navigate the complexities of self-employment in the US.
