Founder of two technology publications, Ars Technica and Techreport, Scott Wasson was previously editor-in-chief and owner Techreport, where he focused on tech product reviews, with an emphasis on CPUs and graphics.
Scott also built a custom CMS with an integrated pay-what-you-want subscription system and is a pioneer of novel testing methods for quantifying semiconductor performance and efficiency, including frame-time-based metrics for real-time graphics.
After Techreport, he went on to work on technical marketing at AMD and then software product management for Radeon Boost, Anti-Lag, and more. In 2020, Scott went on to be part of the technical marketing at Intel.
Presently, he is Director of Product Management at MLCommons, the AI consortium with a mind to improve Artificial Intelligence systems through open collaboration.
